Trench coat

Hi all!! Happy St. Patrick’s day!! Even though I don’t celebrate much of this, I like any holidays. :-)  hope you all had a wonderful weekend. We had a little drizzle this morning and it’s cloudy and very windy here in NY. It’s about 40 something degree here, but the wind make me feel much chillier than it is.

Whenever the weather seems little rainy or cloudy in the spring, I tend to wear trench coat just like some other people do. My trench coat is old… I mean very old. I’ve had it for almost ten years. It’s Marc Jacobs…back then, Marc Jacobs was one of the newest and youngest designer, I loved his girly designs and details. The trench coat was longer than it is now, but I hemed it couple of years ago because I wasn’t wearing heels much, and long trench coat with flat was no no to me. (FYI, I’m 5 feet and 3 inches) Luckily, it came out nice and I’m very happy with its shorter length. :-)

imageI wore the trench coat with skinny jean which doesn’t compliment my body in my opinion… the saddest part of today.. but I didn’t have to put too much effort to look stylish because the trench coat did the magic. I think I’ll be keeping this in my closet for another decade. :-) :-)

I just want to show you the details of this trench. The round buttons and round collar make this coat very girly. I think those details made this coat cuter than those regular style trench.

This was seasonal Chanel bag of…I forgot which year it was. Anyway, the size is little bigger than classic jumbo and the material is Jean. Easy to carry everywhere not worrying about scratch.
